Haha, hi Colleen!
That photograph actually does not belong to me, but I think it looks very pretty too. Thanks for visiting and you take care as well!

Hello! I found my way here trying to find a way to buy a CD or a download of Buffy’s performance of Piney Wood Hills as performed on her Many a Mile album. I purchased this album when I was a college student in 1965. I have found downloads of this song from other of her albums but they do not compare with the performance I have referenced. Amazon does not have any cd’s of this album (well they do but it is unavailable and they don’t know if it will be available again), they do show one LP (and I still have my original copy) vinyl but I am afraid of purchasng a used vinyl LP. I think there was an Italian company who produced a CD of this album. My LP copy is scratchy, and it’s not in good shape. Do you know where I can find a copy of this CD? This song evokes “home” for me more so than any song I have ever heard. Thank you for your efforts for your blog, from an old “geezer” who cries when he hears her music!
Hi. I followed the link from your youtube channel- I love the videos you’ve posted. I was wondering if you would mind posting “The Greeting” by Thomas Walker… That song has a special meaning to me and sometimes, I just really need to hear it. I’ve searched all over youtube and other sites and haven’t found it anywhere. You see, that was my Papa’s favorite song. Thomas Walker was always playing in his house… I didn’t grow up knowing my Papa. I met him when I was 15- he passed two years later. But during those two years, he taught me about our heritage (something my mother never wanted me to know for some reason). I miss him so much and it would mean the world if I could hear that song again. He was my best friend… Anyway, thanks for your time.
Emi
I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
